In 2012, I had an angiofibroma nasal tumor; it measured 8x4 cm. I went to many doctors, but none were willing to operate because it was too risky. Then I met Professor Raşit. He said it could be done and operated on me. Thirteen years have passed, and I still haven't had any problems. In fact, sometimes when I go to any ENT doctor for allergic reactions, when I mention that I had angiofibroma surgery, I get comments like, "The doctor who performed your surgery did a great job." I would like to thank Professor Raşit again from here.

Today, my 23-month-old son underwent adenoidectomy surgery performed by Dr. Raşit. We would like to thank Dr. Raşit and his team for managing our son's adenoidectomy process from start to finish with great care and professionalism. He is a surgeon who inspires confidence with both his communication and medical approach. We highly recommend him.

After being given nasal sprays and dismissed at the state hospital, I consulted Dr. Rasit. I was having difficulty breathing due to my enlarged nasal conchae and the curvature of my nasal bones. After an approximately one-hour operation on October 2nd—even though it would hurt if the nasal cavity were removed—I was able to breathe normally, without any pain or swelling. I can't thank Dr. Raşit and his team enough.

I consulted Dr. Raşit for a deviated middle nasal bridge and a fungal infection under my cheekbone. During the consultation, he said, "Let's treat it first, and if it doesn't go away, surgery." I was breastfeeding at the time, and I was stressed out about not being able to breastfeed my baby after the procedure. Naturally, I asked more about the effects of the surgery on breastfeeding. Since we hadn't yet decided on surgery and hadn't yet decided which procedures I would undergo, I wasn't particularly focused on the cost. After two and a half months, when my symptoms didn't improve, I decided to have the surgery. Thinking that the price could change over time, which was perfectly normal, I contacted him to ask about the cost. I received a rather unnecessary reply, "I've already informed you about this. If you prefer, you can go to a public or university hospital." It's extremely disrespectful for a doctor to approach a patient asking for a price in a condescending manner. Such an approach is neither ethical nor professional. Moreover, when I messaged him expressing my frustration with this situation, he didn't even bother to respond. If, as a physician, he didn't want to discuss fees directly, it would have been more professional for him to provide such information through his assistant. A physician's duty is to treat patients with respect, as well as to provide medical support. I hope this feedback helps you be more empathetic in your future interactions with patients.

I went to him with a chronic ear infection. I was stalled for months by Dr. Raşit's inadequate treatment. Finally, he told me the infection would go away on its own, we'll just have to wait :) It turns out that the chronic infection had now developed a cholesteatoma in my ear and had wrapped around my facial nerve. I nearly had facial paralysis. I wish he had told me he was a rhinoplasty specialist and not an ear specialist, and hadn't put me off. It's one of the causes of my permanent hearing loss. If you're having ear problems, I recommend seeing an ENT specialist, not a rhinoplasty specialist. Edit: I read Mr. Raşit's response with great surprise. Much of the information he wrote about me is inaccurate, and his assumptions about my treatment are also false. Yet, I still have his note on my phone saying, "Let's wait, the infection will subside on its own." If he pursues the legal remedies he mentioned, I'd be happy to provide them. Unless cholesteatoma is a condition that develops over two months, I already had it when I came to you, and you've admitted to not being able to diagnose it. Thank you for your response. I find this tone and language unbecoming of a respected physician when dealing with patients who are already struggling with their lives.
