I can’t recommend Dr Erman Ak highly enough. I went to him for a corrective breast augmentation with lift after having a previous breast augmentation in 2021 that needed to be redone, and from start to finish the experience was exceptional. I flew from the UK to Istanbul for my surgery, and I can honestly say I didn’t feel worried for a single moment. From the first consultation through to aftercare, everything was so well organised and professional that I felt completely safe and confident in my decision. Dr Erman Ak is incredibly meticulous and thorough. My surgery took around four hours, whereas a standard breast augmentation usually takes about two, which really shows the level of care, precision, and attention to detail he puts into his work. Nothing felt rushed — every step was done properly and thoughtfully. He made me feel completely at ease, and the same goes for his entire team. From the nurses to the support staff, everyone was professional, kind, and extremely informative. The clinic itself was spotless and very reassuring in terms of cleanliness and standards. The aftercare was also excellent. I was given everything I needed and very clear, detailed instructions on what to do during recovery, which made the healing process feel much less stressful. One thing that truly stood out to me was Dr Erman Ak’s stitching technique. Even with an anchor scar, after just two weeks there were areas where you could barely see where the stitches had been — they were that fine and precise. The level of skill is honestly impressive. If you’re considering a primary or corrective breast surgery and are even thinking about travelling abroad, I would 100% recommend Dr Erman Ak and his team. I would make the same decision again without hesitation.

Dr. Ak is exceptionally skilled. From the start, he took time to understand what I did not like and what I was hoping to improve. My surgery went well, and my time in Istanbul was very pleasant. Personally, I did not do much sightseeing after surgery, but I know others who felt well enough to explore a bit during recovery. His coordinator, Rabia, is outstanding. I truly cannot say enough good things about her. She responds quickly, even after hours, and having her support throughout the process made a meaningful difference. I also want to mention Serpil, the massage therapist and nurse they work with. She is incredibly hardworking with excellent bedside manner. She is kind, compassionate, and patient, and her massages made a noticeable difference in my swelling. Finally, there is a WhatsApp group for potential, current, and past patients. That sense of community added a great deal to the overall experience. We share tips, recovery photos, and support one another. When you are traveling from abroad, that kind of connection is invaluable, and I do not think many doctors offer anything like it. I am very happy with how my results are coming along. I am currently 15 days post op.

Exactly 1 month post-op. This was genuinely the easiest surgery I have ever had and I have undergone three previous procedures before this one. The professionalism of the entire team was outstanding.
