Prof. Arif Türkmen

I am still in the recovery period (surgery one week ago) but I cannot say enough good things about Dr Turkman. The man is both a surgeon and an artist. For starters, he is one of the very few aesthetic surgeons in Istanbul board certified by the premiere European board for reconstructive and aesthetic surgeons. The process of certification is very complex and to have successfully completed it means he maintains only the highest standards of the profession. He performed the surgery at a world class accredited university hospital. One night at the hospital was included which gave me an extra sense of assuredness that my initial recovery was being monitored and going well. The results after one week are everything I could have hoped for - and more. He exceeded the very high expectations I had for him. I trust that even IF after the recovery an issue emerges he will be there for me and guide me through any necessary revision. I doubt that will be necessary but it is comforting to know. Finally, what impressed me more than anything other than his medical capabilities is the fact that his office does not mandate a deposit of any kind. He was the ONLY top surgeon I spoke with who did not. This underscores his overriding priority of dedication to his craft and his patients and lack of a need to coerce people into going through with the surgery just for his profit. He is both an outstanding surgeon and an outstanding person.
