As a female patient, I was concerned about the embarrassment of shaving my head, so during my consultation the clinic recommended Long DHI—a surgical technique specifically designed for patients with long hair. After several weeks of careful research, I chose Dr. Serken Aygin Hair Transplant Clinic because of its outstanding reputation in this field. I decided to schedule the surgery during my short Christmas break, combining the procedure with a visit to this beautiful city. From the moment I arrived, the clinic provided thoughtful airport and clinic transfer services, making the entire experience seamless. From pre-operative planning to the surgery itself and post-operative care, the team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care. Communication with the customer service representative was smooth and efficient, and the treatment schedule was extremely well organized. Thanks to the surgical team’s excellent skills, the procedure was efficient and went very smoothly. There was virtually no pain during the surgery, and with my long hair covering the area, it was almost impossible to tell that the donor and recipient areas had just undergone treatment. Starting the day after surgery, I wore the cap provided by the clinic and spent several days exploring the city with complete confidence. This experience allowed me to enhance my appearance while also enjoying famous local attractions, making the trip truly worthwhile. Long DHI is truly a blessing for female patients—the recovery is remarkably fast. After approximately six hours of surgery, aside from mild swelling-related discomfort during the first two days, I was able to move freely and felt comfortable going out in public. When I returned to work after the New Year, I’m confident no one suspected I had undergone surgery. EXCEPTIONAL and TOP NOTCH are the words for DR. SERKAN AYGIN CLINIC, ŞIŞLI ISTANBUL facility, staff and the surgical procedures. All pre surgery communications are done via WhatsApp in timely manner. Katre helped me setup the itinerary, of course on my date’s . Yaren greeted and welcomed us on the first day for consultation to confirm all the medical info from me she was all smiles and we almost forgot we were there for hair transplant. Dr SERKAN AYGIN visited us and marked the skull to be treated. Emre “Bey” was guiding me through out my stay. It’s unbelievable how smooth everything is handled without any hiccups. The staff during and after the surgery are just so professional they always make you comfortable by going every single details of post surgery. This clinic is the best hair transplant clinic in the world. Also no need to stay at Marriott, I recommend to take the hotels offered in the package since to and fro trips are well scheduled. Pain levels may vary but I didn’t experience much pain but some discomfort sleeping after bandage removal next day after surgery. I have nothing, but good things to say about my experience with Dr. Serkan Aygin clinic. The clinic itself is very modern and beautiful, but it's the people working there with Dr. Serkan Aygin who created this experience for me and it's those people I am thankful to and greatful for meeting. It took me a long time to decide which clinic to choose and after long and hard consideration I finally committed to Dr. Serkan's clinic. The level of organization is exceptional, including messaging, reminders, transportation and accommodation. There were no mistakes, or delays. I had my first surgery in July of 2024. Although the surgery was a success, after returning to Canada I developed a localized infection in the scalp. The clinic adheres to the highest medical standards, provided me with post op care, cleaning,  medications and instructions as well as their post op email support. This I truly believe was no fault of theirs. I worked with their post op support, sending pictures and progress reports and receiving treatment instructions without delays. Despite the efforts on both sides, I lost the transplanted hairs in the area of the infection. This is when I found out the true extent of their commitment to their patient clients. The clinic offered to add, free of charge, grafts on this previously transplanted area, using no shave Long DHI method. whenever I was available to come to Turkey. I visited the clinic for the second time in October 2025. They didn't just keep their promise, they went far beyond. I couldn't be happier with the choice of clinic I made. I love my new hairline.
