Uzm Dr. Tansuerakman

I came here after seeing Dr. Tansu on television. He examined my wisdom tooth and performed the operation the same day. It was over in just 10 minutes. He's a professional with two doctorates. The workmanship is superb. You should entrust your teeth to doctors like him. If dentistry is an art, Dr. Tansu is a virtuoso, a doyen.

I went to Ankara for a business trip and visited Dr Erakman's practice. His assistant apologised for keeping me waiting, and Dr Erakman carried out a mouth check, scale, polish and fluoride treatment free of charge, which could easily have cost me between £50 and £150 in London. He explained his treatment in layman’s terms and did a great job. Obviously, my review is based on the treatment I received and I cannot extrapolate my experience to more complex treatments like root canal or implants, but Dr Erakman seems to be a kind soul and I would certainly recommend that you visit his practice.

I had to get a full mouth implants replacement for all my teeth (99% gone already). On top of that, I was quite a challenging case. I needed full mouth bone grafts, some of my implants needed to be angled to avoid damaging my sinuses, and have enough grip to stay in. I have Type 1 Diabetes that I had to very closely manage. I had bad oral hygiene. And he did an incredible job. Tansu is exceptionally kind, he explained everything to me. I am prone to anxiety attacks, and knowing the details about every process, procedure, and why we are doing x or y, really helped me to stay calm. I had significant bone loss in my upper jaw, and some in my lower jaw, and instead of turning me down (some dentists did(, he took on my case with great care and professionalism. We got along really well. He was patient, allowing me to reschedule if I had to. He was thorough, always improving his processes to match me the human, not just patient number 3. He noticed for example that one way he was taking out stitched hurt me a lot, so he adjusted his technique, and I ended up feeling zero pain. It takes great skill to be able to do that, seriously. He never judged me, instead he opted to give me gentle guidance and suggestions, rather than you must do x or I will tell you off as some dentists can do whether they mean it to come off that way or not. He said things realistically, and helped me understand the stakes that were involved. If I couldn't do a session because I was still in too much pain, we moved it. One time, he came in only for me on a day when he was giving a lecture at university. It meant a lot to me. As a gift for perhaps being a good patient, or maybe because I had such a horrible past with my teeth and dentists leading up to this, who knows, he gifted me one implant for free. He almost made me cry with such a kind gesture! To finish off, the dentist office is beautiful. A really wonderful atmosphere. And he is a fantastic dentist who I will be seeing for a checkup again in the near future! (Also, he loves audiobooks like me, he let me listen to them during sessions!)

I am one of the regular patients of Tansu Erakman for at least six years now and I can guarantee that he is an excellent dentist. Although, it may seem like the prices are high compared to the market, you can make sure that you are getting best quality treatment here. Tansu Erakman’s attitude is always positive and he explains every step of treatment, what should be done and what are your options. Dental treatment is something that should not be underestimated and many things can go wrong. Therefore, you have to make sure that you are in good hands and you are getting back your moneys worth. Doctor Tansu Erakman is the best and most scientific dentist, is a specialist who always welcomes patients with a pleasant face and smiling with a friendly and polite staff. Dr. Erakman's scientific and practical work is unique and offers the best results to the patient according to the patient's taste and opinion. I visited him from Iran and chose him based on the internet search and opinions of his patients and I am very happy and satisfied with my choice. Dr. Erakman made a smile design for me.
