Smile Team Turkey

I first contacted the Smile Team in June 2025 after a friend recommended them. I sent photos of my teeth and was asked about my medical history. I have type 2 diabetes, and when my blood sugar levels were found to be too high, they refused to proceed until I had them under control. That alone gave me real confidence in their professionalism. Once my levels improved, I travelled to Antalya in September. I was met at the airport by their driver and taken to my hotel. The next morning I was collected and taken to the clinic, where the team was very welcoming. After reviewing my case, the surgeon, Tolgahan, advised that given my age (67) and diabetes, it would be safer to remove all my teeth rather than try to save a few. This matched my own preference. That same day I had all my teeth removed and twelve implants inserted. When the anaesthetic started to wear off, the surgeon immediately topped it up, and the rest of the procedure was painless. Because of my diabetes, the implants were stitched under the gums and I wasn’t given fixed temporary teeth. I was provided with medication and mouthwash, and everything was explained clearly. That evening I expected to be in pain, but I slept well and woke up feeling fine. Even my speech was hardly affected. Two days later I had temporary dentures fitted, then returned home for four months to heal. During that time I had a few small bone fragments come through my gums, which the Smile Team told me was common. A UK dentist later confirmed this and even complimented the quality of the implant work. I returned to Antalya in January 2026 for my final teeth. I was treated by Esin, the prosthetist, and her assistant Ahsen. The fitting process was careful and methodical. There were trial fittings, scans and bite checks, and I could see how much attention to detail Esin put into her work. When my final teeth were fitted, my bite was almost perfect the first time. As an engineer of 50 years, I genuinely appreciated the workmanship. I’m absolutely delighted with the result and very grateful to the whole Smile Team especially Esin and Adelia for their care, patience and professionalism

And especially to my incredibly good implantologist surgeon Dr. Tolgahan, who performed my implant surgery in the first stage of my treatment. A great person who made me relax and not be afraid of anything during the surgery. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my great dentist specialist Dr. Said and his assistant Ebru. These are people who made me feel in the safest hands, I received great attention, warm treatment, they listened patiently to my concerns and requests. They did the best for me, even exceeded my expectations. Incredibly precise work, words are not enough to express the gratitude and feelings I feel. I also want to thank Dr. Merinaz and her assistant Zehra, who was also a very important part of my treatment, thank you for the attention and dedication with which she worked. I am very happy and glad that I trusted them. I highly recommend the clinic. My treatment took place in 2 stages, and on both visits everything was prepared down to the smallest detail, starting from the meeting at the airport, the transfer to the hotel, the daily transfer to the clinic and back, just a great organization, to perfection. Everyone in the clinic speaks several languages, which makes communication between doctor and patient as easy as possible, that's great. I also want to thank my coordinator Max, he was great from beginning to end, informing me about absolutely everything related to my treatment and not only. I started my smile journey in June 2025, I flew from Dublin and was greeted by a SmileTeam driver directly at the airport and taken to my hotel. The hotel is simple but clean and has absolutely everything you need for a stay. I had all of my top teeth removed and they accommodated me so well there. SmileTeam have been amazing from the very first contact to the finished product. They have been super informative, friendly, and professional. The entire team from the drivers, to reception, to my lovely coordinator Wahab, and finally my dentist. I tell everyone “I have the best dentist in the world” I just finished my second trip, I’ve left with the smile I’ve always dreamed of. The smile no one else could give me. My partner came with me both trips, SmileTeam were super friendly and welcoming to her as well. We both fell in love with Antalya, it now has a very special place in our hearts and you best believe we will be back for a holiday! Most importantly, SmileTeam are there for you when you need them.
