I had surgery with the doctor a week ago. Since I’m from another country, I was a bit worried about the procedure, but now that I’m back home I’m writing my impressions. On the day of the operation, the assistant, translator, the doctor and I discussed what I wanted, did the necessary tests and that was it — everything went quickly. The doctor offered me several nose shapes to choose from, which really impressed me. We decided on a natural look, emphasizing that I didn’t like my nostrils. The doctor told me he might need to take cartilage from my rib, which scared me a lot. The surgery lasted quite long, about 5 hours. After the surgery I felt good, I didn’t have any pain from the nose itself — actually, the most painful part of the whole recovery was from the rib. The doctor and his assistant kept texting me to ask how I was, which I really appreciated — they are not the type to just do the surgery, take the money and disappear, but they also carefully follow the post-operative process. I had some stomach issues that had nothing to do with the nose surgery, yet the doctor still helped me. It’s been 7 days now, we removed the splints and cast, my nose is still swollen but I’m already very happy with the results 🥰❣️ Greetings from Serbia 🇷🇸
