I traveled from Toronto to Istanbul for my hair transplant, and choosing History Hair Clinic was one of the best decisions I’ve made. From start to finish, the entire experience was smooth, professional, and extremely well organized. The clinic staff were incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable and confident every step of the way. The procedure itself went very well, and I had 4,500 grafts placed using the FUE method. Everything was clearly explained before, during, and after the operation, which really put me at ease. A huge reason I chose this clinic was Alper, my translator. He was honestly one of the biggest factors in me booking. Alper was professional, responsive, and supportive throughout the entire journey — from initial questions while I was still in Toronto to being there for me in Istanbul. Having someone I could fully trust and communicate with made a massive difference. Overall, I am extremely pleased with how everything went and couldn’t be happier with my decision. I would highly recommend History Hair Clinic to anyone considering a hair transplant abroad.

The Worst Experience of My Life. Avoid This Clinic at All Costs! I had a hair transplant at this clinic, and it was the biggest mistake of my life. From the beginning, their communication was terrible. They ignored most of my questions, gave vague answers, and only seemed interested in getting my payment. They offered a package that included the surgery fee, a hotel and breakfast, all I had to do was book the flight, but everything after that went downhill. When I arrived, the first thing they did was demand payment before anything else. Only after paying did they make me sign a form saying they’re not responsible if something goes wrong and that results aren’t guaranteed. That should’ve been the first red flag, but I had already traveled from another country and paid, so I felt trapped. During the operation, they were completely unprofessional. Almost no one spoke English, and the translator barely understood me. There were constant misunderstandings. At one point, I was bleeding heavily, and when I asked why, they just said, “It’s normal.” I nearly fainted, I could’ve died there. They gave me some food, waited a bit, and continued as if nothing happened. I felt every single injection and told them I was in pain, but they ignored me because they couldn’t understand what I said. It was terrifying. After the operation, I felt extremely weak and sick. Back home, the problems became even worse, holes in my scalp, ingrown hairs, infections, and large areas where the hair never grew back. I followed every single aftercare instruction they gave me. When I contacted them for help, they mostly said “it’s normal,” “take medicine,” or “go meet a doctor.” They were trying to help in some way, but they never admitted that anything went wrong and told me instead “we don’t know what you did to your hair”. Later, they said I could come back for a “free 1-hour treatment,” but I’d have to pay for everything else, travel, hotel, and more. It’s been 10 months since the surgery. The result is awful and permanent and not a single day without pain in my head and falling hair. My hair and scalp are damaged, and I’ve lost not only money but hair and health too. These people are scammers who only care about getting paid. They are completely unprofessional, dishonest, and unsafe. Please, save yourself the pain and do not trust this clinic. They destroyed my head and my trust in medical tourism forever.

The clinic is modern, clean, and well-organized, and they made me feel comfortable from start to finish.
