Hello, I had otoplasty (ear pinning) surgery with Dr. Volkan. It's been 10 days since the surgery. I want to share my experience here for those considering this surgery. I am 36 years old and have been dealing with this problem for at least 30 years, and now I'm angry at myself for waiting so long. If you are reading this, you are probably suffering from the same problem :) So please, make a decision without delay, but; your doctor is very important here. I found Dr. Volkan after extensive research and had an examination with him. Both he and his team, Bahar Hanım and Deniz Hanım, provided all the information and welcomed me very warmly. Still, I had fears and concerns. How will the surgery be, will it hurt, what will happen afterward, etc. There was absolutely nothing different from what the doctor and his team said. Before the surgery, they prepare you very professionally and take all precautions. They only told me that the local anesthesia might be painful, otherwise I wouldn't feel anything. (I would like to thank Bahar Hanım very much for holding my hand and providing me with psychological support during the local anesthesia.) Probably because of the doctor's expertise, even the local anesthesia itself was very comfortable. Afterwards, there was absolutely no pain or discomfort. I underwent an incredibly professional surgery where my needs were taken into consideration. My doctor even administered local anesthesia at the end of the surgery to ensure a comfortable recovery. Everything was thought of for you. There was no pain or bleeding afterwards. I got through the process very comfortably. I say, I wish I had had this surgery sooner. AND I'M SO GLAD I CHOSE PROFESSOR VOLKAN... If you're considering it, believe me, you're in the right place. I would like to thank Professor Volkan, who is a professional in his field and the architect of my ears. Of course, I would also like to thank Bahar and Deniz, who were always there to help me, both in person and over the phone, and who are always smiling and do their jobs with all sincerity. Mr. Volkan performed my prominent ear surgery on August 19th. The surgery was performed under local anesthesia, and I felt nothing. It's been exactly one month now, and every day I say, "I'm so glad I did." I had many concerns before the surgery, especially the post-operative pain. I was also terrified that the results wouldn't be what I expected, but everything went much easier and better than I imagined. I decided to have the surgery based on the reviews. I was able to swim in the sea three weeks later, and yesterday I was able to lie down on my ear. I got through the entire process with just one sling. I'm incredibly pleased, and I'd like to thank my doctor and his team.
