I was very satisfied with the surgery I had with Dr. Anvar. The team was incredibly attentive. Since I came from outside Istanbul, I stayed at one of their partner hotels. Serenity Hotel was very clean. Their hospital was also spotless, and the nurses were very caring.

Great for HAIR TRANSPLANT Pre-arrangement: I communicated with Nilsu and she was absolutely the best. Arranged everything for me before arrival, including hotel and transport. She even took me to the hospital for the procedure, translated the prescription and helped with millions of my related and unrelated questions. Procedure: Treatment was at a hospital, the procedure was done by an actual surgeon with the help of two technicians (not just technicians performing the procedure like some other clinics). It was fairly simple and painless for the most part, except the Anastasia injections weren’t a walk at a park, and the procedure took about 7 hrs. Accommodation: Hotel staff was super helpful accommodating any needs after the procedure, including buying the medicines. There were plenty of other patients at the hotel. They seemed very professional and knowledgeable, since they partner with the doctors all the time. Post op: I had mild bleeding on the first night after the procedure. No pain though. On the third day, bandaid was removed. Scabs went away after 10 days by itself, only massaged them with shampoo once a day. After a month all of the implanted hair fell off. the area is still reddish, with visible signs of transplant, and the scalp is stiff and less sensitive to touch. I was told, the hair will grow again after 3 months. I’ll update the review here with progress. Price: The price was very reasonable. Treatment, 3 nights of hotel, airport and hospital trips are all included. You’ll have to buy the antibiotic and pain medicine after the surgery, which was only about $10. Drawbacks; Most people don’t speak English in Turkey. So expect some communication issues on the streets. Although, this won’t be an issue for the surgery. You’ll find Nilsu and a few hotel staff very helpful during and after the procedure. The doctor spoke English but the technicians and the nurses didn’t. The clinic provided translator when needed during the treatment. Most patients are French speaking.
