Warning: This is not a review — this is a real medical nightmare I underwent a “Hollywood smile” treatment at Prime Clinic (Istanbul), where Dr. Ersin Arıcan placed 27 dental crowns. All crowns were placed on healthy teeth and connected in pairs without my informed consent. I only discovered this after returning to Canada, when normal cleaning between teeth proved impossible. Canadian dentists confirmed that all crowns were joined, causing severe gum inflammation, tissue damage, and advanced periodontal problems. The clinic initially blamed poor oral hygiene, which was untrue — my gums were healthy before treatment. The crowns had serious defects, including excess cement, overhanging margins, and bite misalignment. Attempts to address the issues at the clinic were confusing and contradictory. I was offered corrections only with the same doctor who caused the damage. Nine months later, I had to fully replace all 27 crowns in Canada at significant financial cost. Additionally, the clinic regularly deflects responsibility: negative reviews are often dismissed as mistakes or attributed to another clinic with a similar name. All medical records, expert opinions, photographs, and correspondence are documented. Please be extremely cautious if considering treatment here.

I am truly extremely satisfied with the work of the clinic and the result achieved. They turned my the long-awaited dream from my hopeless appearance and shape of my teeth into a reality with a flawless and natural look. Dt. After installing the zirconium crowns, the very next day I felt the most natural feeling in my teeth, which I felt like my real ones and no longer felt any difference between my real teeth and the crowns. My first contact was with Idil, and from the very beginning I knew I was in good hands. I had been researching for a while but still felt insecure about the procedure — I had doubts regarding safety, price, trust, and even the language barrier. After many conversations and much research, I found Idil, who became my guide and translator throughout the entire process. She followed every step closely, explaining everything with kindness and clarity, which made me feel truly confident to move forward. Upon arriving in Istanbul, I was welcomed by a private transfer that took us to the hotel arranged by Idil for me and my husband. The next day, we had our first visit to the clinic, and my first impression was excellent: a modern, clean, and well-equipped environment, with a friendly, polite, and attentive team. My dentist, Dr. Gökhan Bayındır, is an outstanding professional. In addition to being extremely gentle and patient, he paid great attention to every detail. He carefully explained each step of the treatment (while Idil translated for me) and was incredibly precise and dedicated throughout. I had a full treatment with zirconium crowns and veneers, and the result exceeded all my expectations. My new smile turned out exactly as I had dreamed — natural, harmonious, and full of life. Today, I feel deeply grateful for the amazing work and for the warmth and professionalism of the entire team. Clinic Prime Istanbul gave me something priceless: my self-esteem back. Clinic Prime Istanbul ISTMarina AVM Kartal – Review Leaving a negative review is the last thing I wanted to do, but unfortunately, my experience with Clinic Prime has left me no choice. I underwent an all-on-6 full arch treatment at the clinic, but the results have left me with ongoing issues. When I reached out via WhatsApp to request corrections, the clinic eventually stopped responding. Main problems (documented in photos): Midline deviation (~2.5mm): This has affected both function and aesthetics. Chipped zirconium prosthesis: The clinic told me this was "not a problem for function." Colour mismatch: The top arch (shade 1M1) doesn’t match the bottom. The top was replaced after my lip kept catching on my teeth when speaking or smiling. By the time I returned 7 months later, the bottom arch had yellowed. My request to correct this was ignored. In total, I traveled to Turkey four times for this treatment. I was prepared to return a fifth time, but communication ceased after I raised concerns. If you’re planning dental tourism to Turkey, I suggest factoring in the potential cost of additional visits for follow-up or corrective work. ⚠️ Important Advice: Avoid paying in cash — always use a credit card if possible. Why? Cash: No paper trail, no protection, no chargeback if things go wrong. Credit card: Offers more security, including chargeback options in some countries. Some clinics insist on cash and refuse cards. In my experience, that’s a red flag. I was told a “credit card fee” was due to Turkish government policy, but I could not find any official source confirming this. From my perspective, this felt like pressure to use untraceable payment methods. In my opinion, the outcome of my treatment fell below the standard I would expect from a professional clinic. I'm sharing my experience to help others make informed decisions about dental care abroad. This review reflects my personal experience and opinions only.

The experience has been good so far. The clinic is very clean and well situated within what seems to be a newly developed shopping center. The staff is amazing and do a good job of understanding what we needed. Translation was effortless thanks to our client representative. Additionally, the implants itself are of high quality as requested. There are few things to note: There will be a surcharge if you are paying by credit card. Also, there will be an extra charge for additional days beyond what is relayed for the initial treatment. So plan your flight accordingly. This is taking into consideration that the clinic is closed on Sundays and some flight may arrive the next day if you are traveling from the US. The work is excellent, the facility is clean and top notch and the materials used are well known brands. Will definitely update here when I return to for the second phase to complete the procedure.
